There
is a Summer Camp Program that runs the months of July
and August where Sparks, Brownies, Guides and Pathfinders
gather at Camp Bryerswood to share experiences and make
new friends.
Guides
and Pathfinders spend five nights in tents on one of
three sites.
Brownies can attend Day Camps, spend five nights in rustic cabins or for the
older girls five nights in tents.
Sparks enjoy Day Camps.
Summer applications are available in January.
27.5 acres; 3 buildings (2 winterized); 5 cabins; tent sites; swimming pool;
miniature golf and playground; flush toilets and showers.
Camp Facilities
Ewherst
Lodge - is a frame structure with a complete
kitchen, dining area, bathrooms, showers and sleeps
20 people, suitable for winter camping.
Arcadian Port - has a complete kitchen, large dining/recreation
area, bathrooms and fire place/barbecue pit.
Paxtu Place - sleeps 18, is heated/air conditioned
and has hydro.
Rosebud Village - is a series of cabins, each
sleeps 5, our new cabin sleeps 8, has on-site water and hydro.
Epping Forest - tentsite with hydro and water.
Brownsea Isle - tentsite with hydro and water.
Ashbury Court - tentsite with one cabin, sleeps
4 and has hydro and water.
The facilities are available September through June for Unit or District rentals.
We also have a sports field, pavilion, wetland (NEW!), mini-golf (with new
scenery!) and pool. *The pool is only open during the months of July and August.
