Book a Camp!
Contact the booking.clerk@guidesontario.org or the Booking Contact shown on the specific camp profile to obtain further information.

If the Provincial Office is responsible for booking the property:
Upon receipt of a fully completed Camp and Facility Booking Request along with proof of your deposit and/or full payment for camp you will be sent:
• A Rental Agreement for signature by the Group Contact Person
• An Information package, if applicable.

If the camp or facility is handling its own bookings directly:
Contact the Booking Contact shown at the top of the individual Camp Profile directly.
Send a fully completed Camp and Facility Booking Request and proof of your on-line deposit and/or full payment. You will be sent a Rental Agreement for signature by the Group Contact Person.

If written notification of a camp cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to arrival at camp, the balance owing is non-refundable.

Paying for Camp!
Payment for all camps will be done through your centralized bank account - Funds Transfer. This will be done for you if you check the box (I give permission to take funds for the deposit directly from my GGC Account ) the Camp and Facility Booking Request.

Safety First! Safe Guide Forms
Going Camping? Be sure to complete all Yellow and Red activity Safe Guide forms at least 3 weeks prior to your activity date to safeguide@guidesontario.org to allow for volunteer Assessors to review and approve your forms. Please be certain to use the most current version of the Safe Guide forms available at http://forms.girlguides.ca/default.aspx.

PROVINCIAL PROPERTY EXTREME SPECIALTY COMMUNITY

A new opportunity to work along side the Property Adviser and Property Manager.

The key purposes of this community are to:

  • on behalf of Ontario Council, oversee the management and operations of the physical property across Ontario.
  • provide resources, direction and support to the LPESC to operate safe, clean, equipped property for the delivery the camping program to GGC Members
  • ensure that all legislative requirements and ways of work as they relate to the property are complied with.

We are seeking 4 - 6 individuals (either Members or non-Members) who possess the following:

  • Property management experience
  • Insurance experience
  • Understanding of budgeting and finance
  • Aptitude for thinking critically, methodically, analytically and procedurally
  • Strong team player with an ability to be an active contributor at meetings, on conference calls and to also work independently on the ongoing work of the community
  • Experience working with adults including volunteer recruitment and management
  • Strong communication skills – oral, written, email and teleconference
  • Solid time management skills - ability to prioritize, be creative, and take initiative
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to growing the camping program at our camps
