Mom & Me
This introduction to Girl Guide camping is the perfect way for moms and daughters to spend some quality time playing games, making crafts, singing songs and having fun! Both of you are participants! Of course, it doesn’t have to be a mom who comes along. Think about other
significant adult females in your daughter’s life such as aunts, step moms, grandmothers, or an older sister! The accompanying adult needs to be 18 years of age or older. There is a maximum of 3 girls per adult.

Explorers Programs
Our Explorers programs offer a mixture of traditional and innovative camping activities. These are the ideal programs for the girl who:
• “Likes everything.”
• Wants to learn about a new topic like nature, astronomy, night time, heritage or technology.
• Eager to try sleeping out in a tent.
• Is coming to camp for the first time.
• Likes to do all the camp things but stay indoors at night.
• Wants to learn about self-esteem in a self development program.
Explorers can expect to take part in games, crafts, nature studies, swimming, boating and more!

Adventurers Programs
Our Adventurers programs offer focused learning opportunities in a specific program area. These camps are a great way to develop a specialized skill and build self-confidence. Some Adventurers Programs are pre-requisites for more advanced skill-development programs.
While each of our Adventurers Programs has a specific skill-development focus, they balance out learning with fun, crafts, games and swimming.
Adventurers programming streams include:
• Archery
• Canoeing
• Canoeing & Kayaking
• Cycling
• Excursions (preparation for Voyageur programs)
• English and Western Horseback Riding (Basic & Advance)
• Kayaking
• Ropes and Climbing Wall
• Sailing & Boardsailing (Basic & Advance)
• Waterfront
• Wilderness

Kaleidoscope Programs
Our Kaleidoscope programs are for girls who want to express their creative side through the Arts. Program streams include Arts, Drama and Music Theatre. While these Arts topics are the focus of each day’s programming, they’re rounded out with plenty of other fun activities such as swimming, games and crafts.

Voyageurs Programs
Embark on a journey with our Voyageurs programs! We offer immersive canoe and cycling experiences designed for 11 to 16 year olds. These programs are excursion-based, and most days are spent away from camp developing skills while on the journey. Some of these programs have pre-requisites for participation listed on the program chart.

Leadership Development Program
These programs are targeted at teenaged campers and will assist young women in developing leadership skills, including supervision, motivation, conflict-resolution, and teamwork as well as camping skills. The Leadership Development Programs’ experience fosters confidence and character education that is transferable to all aspects of life.

Family Camps
Bring the whole family and join us at camp! Your days can be as structured or as unstructured as you wish. Family Camp combines the freedom of a cottage holiday with professionally
delivered summer camp activities. We encourage grandparent-parent-grandchild camping families to foster genuine once in a lifetime memories! Please bring along one adult for every 3 children attending. Family accommodations are available indoors, in our tents or your own tents. All meals are provided at Doe Lake or bring your own meals at Camp Adelaide.
