The rock of
the Canadian Shield, the clear skies of a summer night
scattered with
stars, the
glorious sunsets over the lake and melodic sounds
of nature provide the ideal surrounding for a gathering
of young women.
Each summer Ontario Council provides
a composite camp on the site for Girl Guide members,
and non-members to come together and enjoy the summer
Guide Camping experience. The summer camp progam is based
on the Girl Guide Branches programs and the leadership
is given by paid and volunteer staff.
Campers attending Doe Lake develop
life-long skills and lasting friendships while learning
and having fun.
