CAMP PECO DAH QUAH

The town of Wyoming is a short distance (8km east) from Camp Peco Dah Quah. A local outdoor pool, grocery shopping and laundry facilities are conveniently available.

The camp features several acres of woodland and grassy areas, divided by a winding creek and the property is most noted for the “Trefoil of Trees”. The hill makes for great tobogganing.

Several trails lead through the woodland and along the ridge overlooking the camp. Campers have the opportunity to explore a diverse natural environment, learning about the world around them.

The camp offers two serviced sites, and there are two main buildings with fully equipped kitchens and several other small buildings with equipment and resources available. Wilderness camping is also an option.

Sparks and Brownies have the choice of sleeping indoors under the stars of Peco Dah Quah’s celestial ceiling or sleeping outdoors in tents during warmer weather. Guides and Pathfinders sleep in nylon tents during warm seasons.

Winter camping is available and the lodge is heated and sleeps about 24 - 30 people. A dryer is available to dry wet clothes

Play night/day games in a safe environment in the “Trefoil of Trees”. Let’s share in the magic of friendship and music, singing around a campfire.
