Submit your photos for a chance to win a camera and get published in Canadian Guider

GGC is looking for great photos that show Girl Guides at its best! Send us your finest, most dynamic images that illustrate the fun, friendship and adventure of Girl Guides and you could win fabulous prizes and have your photo appear in Canadian Guider. Photos will also be shared on GGC’s Flikr account and may be used in our promotional materials.
So keep your camera close at hand and shoot, shoot, shoot! Just keep the following in mind:
We are particularly looking for photos that feature seasonal programming and events – and are easily recognizable as GGC girls doing fun and amazing things – for example, girls wearing their GGC uniform, scarf, camp hat or sash – or girls and Guiders interacting.
We need clean focus and high resolution! Set your digital camera to its highest resolution. Images submitted must be between 1MB and 5MB.
Photos must be submitted online through the online submission form. Be sure to complete all required fields of the form for each image. Photos should be submitted as JPEGs or PNGs. For all photos you will have to affirm that you have IR1 (Image Release Permission) forms signed and on file. You may enter up to five images which can be uploaded on a single form.
The images will be judged on both an artistic and technical basis, including image aesthetic, quality, originality and relevance to Girl Guides. Please keep in mind that candid shots tend to have more impact than staged or posed shots. Heavily-edited photos may be disregarded by the judges.

Everyone who enters:
Everyone who submits a photo to the contest has the opportunity to have their photo shared by GGC through our Flickr collection.
Four finalists will receive:
- Promotion on the GGC Flikr account
- Photo included in an issue of Canadian Guider
One Grand prize:
One lucky grand prize winner will receive a digital camera.
Three Runner-up Choices:
Three runner-up choices will receive a $50 Chapters/Indigo Gift Card
