Girl Guides of Canada is a uniformed organization for both girl and adult Members. The uniform T-shirt and Tunic for all girls and adults is available at thegirlguidestore.ca. Developed in consultation with girl Members, the stylish T-shirt unites all members of Guiding, making girls instantly recognizable as part of the same dynamic organization. Its contemporary design allows girls to participate in the wide range of activities that Guiding is all about - whether they are planting trees in a community garden, volunteering at their local food bank, canoeing down a river, or engaging with local politicians. Badges have been part of girl programming since the inception of Guiding. Proficiency badges symbolize girls’ achievements during their years in Guiding; however, Canadian Guiding includes much more than proficiency badges as there are many pins, crests, commemoratives, and other symbols girls or adults could earn or wear.
